Job Description

National Graphics, Inc., a Connecticut based Direct Mail Print firm, seeks recent college graduates to participate in a mentorship program that will enable these trainees to "fast track" into management positions within National Graphics, Inc.

These openings are available in a number of departments ranging from finance and accounting, administration, inventory control and purchasing to customer service and manufacturing plant management.

Each trainee will be working with managers in various areas of the company while concentrating more specifically in one "home" area with a mentor.

The successful candidate will be viewed as a loyal, long term, "right arm" for each key manager as well as expanding and tackling tasks on their own as they grow.

Each candidate must be willing to be part of a team, be flexible, be able to take on tasks involving decision-making and be willing to accept responsibility for their actions and their decisions.

These jobs have direct contact with upper management and tremendous exposure to the overall business.

Job Summary

National Graphics Inc. is experiencing solid growth. We are seeking individuals to support our manufacturing department. Multiple positions available! Will train motivated individuals!

Responsibilities

  • Set up MBO folders for various folds per written instructions
  • Maintain quality and expected speeds on machinery
  • Maintain job schedules
  • Operate MBO folders and Palamides binders
  • Conduct quality checks
  • Additional responsibilities as required

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to read and understand written and verbal directions
  • Work in a physical environment
  • Strong Attendance and punctuality
  • Education: Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent

Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Working directly with the CFO and other high-level leaders, you will work on business-critical projects. Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payables
  • Customer Service/Collections: Interfacing with clients to resolve outstanding balances
  • Audit: Analyze bills, assisting in job costing (training provided!)
  • Administrative back up for financial and business
  • Additional projects as needed

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 1 year of work experience in a financial and/or administrative function preferred
  • Ability to work in fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Intermediate Excel and MS office.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Loading rolls of paper for press
  • Adding ink in the press while the press is running
  • Inspect rolls of paper for blemishes or tears and cut away any damage 
  • Assisting press setup
  • Cleaning/Maintaining the area and the press

 Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience as Press Operator or Rolltender preferred.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to do basic math and read a ruler

Job Description

National Graphics Inc. is experiencing substantial growth. We are hiring a high-performing individual for Web Press Operator (Pressman) in our North Branford, CT headquarters

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Review job specifications to determine web press set up. 
  • Running continuous forms presses up to 8 colors that finish rewound as rolls or sheets.
  • Operates press to ensure optimum quality and efficiency
  • Pulling work tickets and entering production into a computer,
  • Operating all components of the printing press
  • Performing basic maintenance 

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience working with web presses
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to do basic math and read a ruler
